Medical Note Book

A funny thing happened three-years after I started being a parent, a bunch of doctors and insurance people wanted a complete history of every medical appointment and procedure my daughter had experienced.

She'd been a basically healthy child, so there wasn't that much to gather, but it still took some time. There were two pediatricians and an allergist and there were lots of insurance codes to match up with appointments. It all became quiet a task.

That's when I got a medical notebook. It's an easy way to catalogue and chart appointments, medications, and development. I just stick the notebook in my bag when we are going to appointments and then I have all the information I could ever need.

"How long since her last ear infection?" No problem.
"Has she ever taken this particular antibiotic?" No problem.
"Did we do a blood test last July?" No problem.

Like I said, we were talking about a child who had been pretty typical in the health department, but it still made it super easy for me once I had all the information in one place.
